People who file annual income taxes will be receiving a stimulus check from the government in the mail. To help boost economy the government is hoping that people will go and spend their check. Sears and Kmart are helping American’s to want to spend their check and get the most out of it. A 10 percentage bonus will be given to every customer who converts their stimulus check into a Sears or Kmart gift card.
I was looking at books on Amazon, the online website, and noticed that they have added a category to their home page. Now, you can shop for groceries directly from Amazon’s website, and you can find pretty much everything there that is available in your local grocery store. It is safe to say that you can buy just about anything from Amazon. So, if you are interested in saving some time, gas, and money; check out Amazon for your grocery needs.

For many college students, summer starts in just three weeks. Some summer plans may still be up the air, but it is a safe bet, there will be lots of time spent at the beach. The best beach towns offer more than just sand, sun and surf. They also have unique local shops that carry a wide variety of beach gear.
New Smyrna Beach is located on the east coast of Florida. It has many local flavored shops that can be found on Flagler Avenue. The oldest surf shop, Nichols Surf Shop, is located in a shed that was built in 1910. The eye-catching barn red shop provides the beach town with surfboards, bike, kayak, body board, and wet suit rentals, in addition to a wide variety of other surf products.
“Our shop carries Webber and GNS,” said Ren Morrison, an employee of Nichols. Both of these brands are from California where they make high-end surfboards. Spring break and snowbird season are the peak seasons when they have the most rental sales.
“We rent a lot of bikes to the snowbirds,” said Morrison. Locals and people from Orlando also spend a lot of time at Nichols.
The surf shop, which was started by brothers Dan and Dave Nichols in 1969, is still going strong today. A trip to New Smyrna Beach must include a stop at Nichols Surf Shop for all your beach needs.

On Saturday, I went shopping in Tampa at the International Plaza Mall. Everything I bought was on sale, which is always nice. I found a really cute top from American Eagle. It is the Garden Flutter shirt and is on sale for $20. I bought the blue shirt, but it also comes in green and coral. I also found a pair of shoes that I had been seeing and had admired. I walked into Aeropostale, and there they were. They were also on sale for only $10. Then, to complete my outfit I found a pair of jeans on sale at Hollister & Co. for $30. So, now I have a great new outfit and I didn’t spend a lot!
Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and the sun is shining, which means just one thing–spring has arrived. We have such great weather here in Florida; it is a shame to not spend some time outside, which is just what I did last weekend. And, if you like to shop, I have the perfect solution for you.
My hometown of Leesburg, Florida holds a Saturday Morning Market from the beginning of October through mid-April. After visiting other markets in similarly sized cities, Sandi Moore, Leesburg Partnership market manager, thought it was a perfect fit for Leesburg. The market is located in the historic downtown of Leesburg and features 25 to 35 vendors.
According to Moore, some of the more popular items purchased at the market are produce, bread, Amish products, coffee, and plants. Items sold here vary from week to week, so there are always new and exciting items, which is why it is a good idea to return to the market each week.
“The people, music, and atmosphere are what make this market unique,” said Moore. Families, and people 50 and over, are the ones who tend to visit the market the most.
Everyone can enjoy the live entertainment from local artists. “We try to have a variety of musical entertainment such as country, folk, soft rock, etc.,” said Moore. The Leesburg Saturday Morning Market provides a wholesome, family-oriented atmosphere, and allows you to enjoy our beautiful weather, at the same time.
